Meet Josie Dillmann, Executive Assistant!
Josie joined the Eide Automotive Group in 2019 as the Finance Assistant at Eide Ford. In 2022, she transferred over to Eide Ford Mandan to help get everything up and running, while also helping out as the Used Car Manager Assistant. She then transferred to Eide Chrysler in 2023 and helped as both a Finance Assistant and Business Manager. And finally, she was promoted to Executive Assistant in October 2024.
“As the executive assistant, every day is different,” says Josie. “I am extremely organized, so being able to keep everyone on track and everything organized is enjoyable for me. Some of my other job duties include organizing Jesse’s calendar, and then helping out at each of our dealerships wherever they need me. This means I sometimes go through leads with sales people, write descriptions on vehicles, update the daily sales logs, and help our General Managers with other tasks to help keep everyone on track.”
“I have grown up within the culture of Eide, and I am extremely thankful for everyone and everything they have done for me throughout the years,” Josie says. “I have loved watching everyone’s families grow and my coworker’s kids grow up. Eide has been the biggest constant in my life.”
Josie adopted her brother, Jotis, in November 2024. She also shares custody of her sister, Jaela. She has been their mother figure since 2022, and has loved every moment of it. When she first got her kids, the finance team at Eide Ford filled her car with a bunch of toys and other necessities, since she had nothing for them at this time. She is beyond thankful for the love and support she received from them, saying “Eide truly has become my family. They were my family when I didn’t have one, and I am so thankful to be a part of the Eide family, and have a strong community around me at all times.”
Josie was in charge of organizing the 4th of July parade this year. She came up with the design for the float and decorated it, organized all 92 of the walkers and the 10 drivers, ordered the shirts, and got enough candy and other items to give away.
“I would like to say a special thank you to Jamie Jeter, for believing in me and what I am capable of, Jesse Schuchard for always putting me in my place, Don Pask for giving me a chance, all of the General Managers for molding me into who I am, and Jesse Peterson, for giving me a career in an industry that I never thought I’d be in, but that I am forever thankful that I found.”
“Josie is like a Swiss Army Knife, she can do about 15 different things,” says Jesse Peterson. “I first realized what she was capable of when we purchased the Mandan Ford and Kia store in 2022. We needed her to set up our lending agreements with banks and she did a great job of getting that done quickly. I asked her to do the same thing the next year with St. Cloud. Then last year when we bought Chevrolet and Subaru, I basically had her do everything with regard to filling out the manufacturer applications, getting dealership and personal info together and to the banks, OEM’s, and much more. There was a LOT to do and she helped keep us on track. During that process I realized that she would be a good candidate for this position. There are a lot of things I ask her to do, and often on short notice, and she gets it done. She also keeps my schedule straight, which is hard to do sometimes, and attends meetings with me, takes notes, and gets any tasks done that come out of those meetings. She also attends meetings in my place when I am unable to. She is also a huge help to the GM’s as she can assist with a lot of duties that an F&I Manager or Sales Manager has. That helps when a store is in a pinch, which happens from time to time. I have to say, the 4th of July float was awesome. I have been trying for years to garner some interest there for having a float, and she took the bull by the horns and got it done. I am very glad to have Josie on the team.”
In her spare time, she likes to spend time at the lake, camping, shopping, knitting, sewing, and spending time with friends and family.
Thank you Josie, for everything you have done for the Eide Automotive Group through the years!
